The Department of Royal Rainmaking and Agricultural Aviation (DRRAA) will host the ASEAN Regional Seminar on Weather Modification in August 2024, featuring a hybrid format for both online and on-site participation. This significant event aims to tackle climate change through innovative weather modification techniques and integrated management. It will focus on enhancing water security and promoting sustainable practices by providing a platform for experts, researchers, and practitioners from ASEAN member states and beyond to collaborate and share insights. Attendees will experience live demonstrations of Royal Rainmaking techniques, engage with leading experts, and explore potential collaborations within the ASEAN Weather Modification Centre (AWMC). Key themes for the seminar include rainwater security through innovation, natural-based solutions for safe water usage, integration of digital platforms for improved operations, and community and capacity building for sustainable development.
